How to use Korean words in everyday sentences
Turn Korean vocabulary into useful sentences with six bilingual examples per word, contextual meanings, and short listening practice.
Learn the word in a situation
Each word has six Korean examples with English meanings and a short context. Pick one that you would actually use, such as ordering food, finding an object, or asking for directions.
Listen before you read every hint
Open an example and listen to the complete sentence. Read the Korean and English, then repeat it. Tap individual syllables when you want to focus on one part, and finish by saying the whole sentence again.
Notice the endings around a word
Nouns often appear with particles such as 이/가, 은/는, or 을/를. Their form depends in part on whether the noun ends in a consonant. Learn them in the card’s complete example rather than attaching an ending at random.
Choose the meaning from the context
The same spelling can have different meanings. 눈 may refer to snow or an eye; 다리 to a bridge or a leg; 배 to a pear or a belly. The picture and example sentence identify the sense on a particular card.
Save a small set and practise aloud
Save words you want to revisit. A short set you can recall and use is more useful than a long list you only recognize. After listening, try saying an example without looking, then check it against the recording.
